Recently someone said to me: "Nobody reads books anymore so there's no need for bookmarks." I, like many others, still keep a good old fashioned Road Atlas in my car and there was nothing more time consuming than going back and forth from the index page to my current locations page until I started using a bookmark. Ours even has a calendar printed on the back to make it even more indispensable.
PS; I do read books as well!
